Growing as a creator.

Ready for failure.  

I find myself pushing away from the desk when I fail at coloring a scene first try.  For GOBLIN I'm pushing myself to fail repeatedly in our pitch to find a color style that doesn't rely on gray tones or color gimmicks to capture tone. 

Twice yesterday while working on samples for Eric  I almost gave in.  But with a little help from his expert eye, we found I wasn't far off!  Feeling my oats and sometimes the best way to learn how to do something you are hesitant to fail at, is to do 100+ pages of it.
